In reply to daveP:
So who's done the dynop at Burbage bridge and is it graded?
daveP 05 Aug 2002
In reply to Billy De Kid: dunno - but there was a thread about it on planetfear a bit since. I think its about 7b ish - i haven't done it but saw huffy trying it the other week in hot weather and that grade seems to be in the right ball-park.
OP peaky 05 Aug 2002
In reply to Billy De Kid:

Originally claimed as "RocketMan" by Rob Smith I think.
daveP 05 Aug 2002
In reply to peaky: most likely to have been "done years ago" by jason/ron/dawes/ben/jerry/brown/whillans.
 Adders 05 Aug 2002
In reply to daveP: not sure if it you would count it as a dyno but u could try Big air at the plantation if youve got the balls for the landing - more like a leap of faith.

In reply to air:
and there's always Hurricane at Curbar. Nice and hard in the sloppy summer.
OP mark sharratt 05 Aug 2002
In reply to daveP: i think the burb bridge dyno is harder than the similar one at higgar tor
Billy De Kid 05 Aug 2002
In reply to mark sharratt:
Felt like it could be 7b+ or there abouts to me.
OP Bulljugs 06 Aug 2002
In reply to air:
Jorge 7B
Crouching Tiger 7A
Jellyeyes 7B+
All awesome dyno's, all at Wharncliffe, Jellyeyes probably still unrepeated.
Iain's dyno 7B?
Left of Nick's wall, on an arete,RH side of rivelin quarry, Very big.
Arete dyno 7A7A+
Up OHing arete left of Overton arete, Turning Stone edge.
Jon's Dyno 7A
Huge dyno from blunt flake to ledge, Some ont' water wall Curbar. Can be done static at same grade(not as fun.)
All obscure classics(not in any guides), all well worth seaking out, I promise.
OP paul hesketh 06 Aug 2002
In reply to daveP: i would just like to congratulate davep on correcting this statement to 'the peak'

there is an alarming number of people still referring to the peak as the peaks

there is probably room for a march on number 10 under a banner of 'it is the peak and not the fffing peaks' campaign
Nik Jennings 06 Aug 2002
In reply to Bulljugs:
Iain's dyno is VERY GOOD (and can be done static with a bit of cunningness).
Obscure classics rule the world!
OP Bulljugs 09 Aug 2002
In reply to air: Just remembered another couple of exellent obscure classic dynos.
Jetpack 7c - Froggat opposite Dogs die in hot cars, very overhanging brutal catch.
The one mentioned as a project 'samson's mother' in bouldering guide 7a/7a+ -clifftop boulder.
Again you will not be disappointed, these things are the best!
