Hi I fancy some highball action and the odd bit of bouldering this weekend, the weather looks ok, does the slipstones dry out quickly or is it likely to be green?
In reply to MattG: It's never green, apart from the darkest recesses between some of the butresses. Some of the topouts can stay damp after sustained wet periods, but you can (usually) see if they are wet from below. Enough to keep you busy though.
In reply to Fiend: Cheers for the info but my gaylord climbing partner wants to leave sheffield at 11, as I have to be back by 5ish then this means eastern peak, oh joy.
Some other time though, I will make a visit, maybe on sunday!
In reply to CJD: Yeah it looked it, which is why I was keen to visit. I will go and mourn elsewhere, I could dump on my climbing partner but that's not very nice so I wont this time.
