How many coffee beans does a normal cup of coffee / expresso take?

Got an urge for chocolate earlier on and whilst rummaging in my cupboards I can across so chocolate coated coffee beans my dad got me for christmas. After eating half the bag in about 30 seconds I'm now wondering if I can look forward to 12 hours without sleep due to caffine kick. Or does it take hundreds of beans to make a cup?

In case anyone is wondering they are surprisingly nice.

Ahhhhhhh, choc coffee beans. Last time I had those I wound up on somebody's roof playing George Thorogood albums on a music centre with a reaaaaaally long extension lead. Long story. Oh, and it was 5 in the morning.
