Cliffhanger & Sharrow Festival Sheffield this weekend

For those of you going to cliffhanger - just to let you know there is a festival in Sharrow park just down Abbeydale rd to go to after the Cliffhanger event closes (6ish)

Last year there were some great bands on in the baking sun -and its free!

Whose going to Cliffhanger then?

Cliffhanger was ace - so much happening.

Was on the BMC tent most of the day - but managed to watch the bouldering sporadically & Skler (SP) break the world dyno record - awesome. Shame the weathers poo today.



- Sharrow was fairly crap - loads of babylon police everywhere & not worth the effort going after such a great day in graves park.

Hope cliffhanger is going to be an annual event as it was such a great day.

Yep - I went - total washout in the rain today...kinda ruined the experience - wish I'd been able to go yesterday instead

Was there today. If not for the rain it would have been awesome but was still a good day out. More deals on outdoor kit than you can shake a stick at (infinitely better than the Outdoors show), great bouldering, today was only the juniors but still awesome to watch, and still a great atmosphere, really friendly and everyone determined to enjoy themselves despite the rain. Watched an Ian Parnell lecture which was good to.
