It's the Gogarth Festival this weekend.

The forecast is good, Gogarth is open, the base is Sue Harwood and Ted Sylvester's The Y Fricsan Snowdonia Pub/Campsite.

Bands, Food (some provided by the CC and BMC), accommodation, lots of climbing and a great chance to socialise.

Also Adam Wainwright, the main mover and shaker behind the Gogarth festival just called to announce that they are also running a Gogarth Guidebook Writing Competition.

Sounds like a brilliant weekend. Get in your car Friday night and head to Llanberis.

Latest details on Gogarth Festival. Who, what, when and where.....

Climbing at Gogarth is often a memorable experience and anyone coming over to the Gogarth festival this weekend is promised something extraordinary, thanks to the line up of events organised at the Fricsan Pub event HQ.

Here are the gritty details aside from the promised sandy holds. Camping is available at the festival field by the Fricsan for the weekend for £4/person. Do not park on the main road. A field is being provided for free parking: turn off the main road, go straight ahead and follow the signs.
