This sounds really dodgy !

A few days ago a guy on the sea kayaking forum reported his Valley Nordkapp sea kayak stolen from his home just south of Edinburgh.
Suprise, suprise....look what turns up on ebay a day or two later. A Valley Nordkapp which is being sold by someone in.....Edinburgh ! Number.150154438147

Don't worry the Sea Kayakers are on to it on their forum...
The drama unfolds here

I know that the stairs don't go all the way up to the attic with scallies but really....are they that thick !

Have just read the post on this on the paddlers forum following your link, just got to say the poor guy must be gutted that is one very nice kayak, just hope the boys in blue can get it tracked down through ebay and get round to have it checked out asap.

just read the threads myself, very suss!
The seller only has a feedback of 8 and is only at 90%!
He sold a car recently, if someone from the paddlers have some imaging software you may be able to improve the pic enough to read the reg either that or contact the buyer to find out where he lives....

99% sure it's a bent deal. The seller is obviously not a sea kayaker himself. He calls the hatches 'storage bits' . He also informs people that they can't view because he's busy but he will meet them somewhere to do the deal.

Bent as a three bob note if you ask me !
