Having climbed at R since it opened it is only to easy to forget that we have a World Class facility here in Scotland This was reinforced on Sat when a group of visiting students (cant remember what University they were at) ran up to the glass wall overlooking the arena & let out gasps of amazement, wonder etc, before hotfooting it back to the desk to get in. They were up for the weekend & did one hell of a lot of climbing, nae complaints about the price of a day ticket (must be new climbers eh)! They were back the next day for another full session, sore fingers all round methinks! And that's without the new Comp Wall. They also enjoyed watching the Uber Kids performing under the watchful eye of Gaz Parry & were inspired by their ability and attitude. Thanks guys for reminding me why I climb there.
