Just received my copy of this through the post and it's a great read with really useful information within. The MCofS are doing a great job on this and offer a better product compared with the grit-centric posed photo grpahs of Climb.

Is that the one with the folk swimming the Corryvreckan ?
Have been across it by boat, and canoed through it - but to swim it !!!!!

In reply to Donald M: I thought this months showed a real contrast. First the article on top climbers and then the ladies climbing club circa 1908, the contrast in style was hilarious.

not seen this, how does it compare to summit?

In reply to Dr.Strangeglove:

I can't comment as it's ages since I've seen Summit. Suffice to say though that the MCofS mag concentrates on Scotland and Summit doesn't. The good thing about the current issue is that it has reports from some of the people pushing things in Scotland as well as articles on access, ski touring, holidays and environmental issues.

I think the graphic design could be improved but I'd say 8/10 for the current issue.
