Jon and Peter came third against stiff opposition from the likes of the inov8 team so this is an astounding result. They finished the event wearing MEREsearch UK vests. Jon Gay said "It certainly spurred us on knowing we were running for such a worthwhile cause." We hope to have a photo soon.
As many of you know I owe my life to Jon after he helped organise my rescue when I collapsed climbing above basecamp in the Tien Shan. Though I was correctly diagnosed with a vascular problem by a neurologist in the capital Almaty, diagnosis in the UK took substantially longer and then only through the assistance of MEResearch UK.
