Finally got round to watching Oliver Stone's film 'Talk Radio' last night (think I've now seen all his feature films apart from World Trade Centre and The Hand).

Though its stage origins are very apparent, it benefits from this in a way - and Eric Bogosian's performance is just scintillating; his climactic rant (preceded by a bold, long, painful, shattering scene between him and his wife) is breathtaking.

Highly recommended. It was given as a free DVD in one of the Sunday papers a few months ago so a lot of you probably have it lying around somewhere!

And tonight's foul-mouthed film adaptation of a modern American play, featuring a small role for Alec Baldwin as a boss, was Glengarry Glen Ross

Which I had seen a couple of times before, but I was a bit younger then, and now can appreciate the situations more. The two long scenes between Jack Lemmon and Kevin Spacey are astonishing
