The Castle has the Brownswood.

Mile End has the Palm Tree.

What is the best pub near the Westway climbing centre?

In reply to ginja1980: The North Pole. Out the back of the centre, 5 minutes walk along the road to a T junction, just on the right.

Not as close as it might be, but cheaper and better than anything closer. Good beer, nice setting, attractive foreign barmaids and a cheery Polish barman to chew the fat with.

Really, The Station is the 'climbing wall pub' - almost opposite the tube station (funnily enough)

In reply to ClimberEd: If it is the one I think it is, quite pleasant but very expensive, nothing like as good a beer range as the North Pole and a less enjoyable ambience.

Yeah, but it's where most of the wall go for a drink after climbing...

In reply to Simon4: i won't contend the expensiveness,, but the garden is ace.. especially on a summers night (or indeed a winter one) it's perfect for sitting out in and chatting over the forthcoming weekends or past ones.
