In reply to ginja1980: The North Pole. Out the back of the centre, 5 minutes walk along the road to a T junction, just on the right.
Not as close as it might be, but cheaper and better than anything closer. Good beer, nice setting, attractive foreign barmaids and a cheery Polish barman to chew the fat with.
In reply to ClimberEd: If it is the one I think it is, quite pleasant but very expensive, nothing like as good a beer range as the North Pole and a less enjoyable ambience.
In reply to Simon4: i won't contend the expensiveness,, but the garden is ace.. especially on a summers night (or indeed a winter one) it's perfect for sitting out in and chatting over the forthcoming weekends or past ones.
