Does Crag Lough suffer from midges? Looks like being warm and still this weekend so I don't fancy making the trek north if we then end up getting eaten...

I've experienced mild midge issues at Peel Crag on a few evenings but I've never been truly infested at Peel or Lough. It's usually been pretty breezy when I've been down there, though. Given that it's pretty boggy along the bottom of the crag, I'd say it could be prone to an invasion given "warm and still" conditions...

Mind you, it's usually ok at Crag Lough during the day, evenings are worst. It's rare not to get at least a breeze. Forecast has a 8 mph'ish breeze
