lead course at pyb

i have booked myself onto a lead course at pyb, as any one done this course, and if so what was the experiance like for them.

I did it a few years ago and I found it very helpful. Seemed like reasonably good value too.

I did that course this year and it was really really good.

The biggest problem is the weather, but there's always somewhere dry-ish !

I'd definately recommend it !

I did it several years ago just as an intro to multi pitch suff as I'd not done much at that time.
2 to 1 instructor ratio, you'll get paired up to another who is roughly the same grade climber as you are. I used my own gear rather than theirs simply for familiararty (sic) of my own gear.
The instructor was next to us all the time on another rope, jumaring as nessesary.
Really good few days and learned a lot about belays that has remained firmly fixed. (fixed in my mind, not fixed belays!!)
Climbed on the indoor wall, Molleins (?) and Tremadog.
Not cheap but the highlight is the cakes.
