Interestingly, BBC Radio Cumbria did a really good report this morning, pointing out how well equipped and competant the runners were, how Mr Weir and the police made it all much worse by sending people off in all directions, did a couple of interviews with competitors and rounded off by saying it was a lot of fuss about nothing.
Obviously the BBC web and national news are still sticking with the 'Lakeland Mortuary' angle.
