Heqading out in the morning in all probability (easiest to get to on Public Transport) - imagine they will be quite wintry and happy just to go for a walk but wondering whether there is any ice for a bit of a play around ?

Any comments / recent pics much appreciated.

Apparently not... Well, at least the Downfall isn't according to a bloke from New Mills who posted on here earlier today.

In reply to Allan McDonald: Been walking over Kinder today and the is plenty of ice on the Downfall, I've just uploaded a photo of the Downfall, so you can judge for yourself if it's worth the trip.

Been up there today-deep snow on the walk in and nothing frozen around the river. - The downfall is only complete at the lower RHS and at the top of the ramp on the LHS. The sun was on it and bits falling off so we avoided it, Will probably be OK after a couple more of nights hard frost
