E, A,B,C, D< all courses where you follow a set of markers in a certian order, just differing lengths and difficulties, with E (elite being the hardest), no real time limit. Score events, you choose which markers and which order in a certain limited time e.g. 7 hours for first day of OMM Long Score. Each marker worth certain points (10-50), 2 points deducted for each minute late.
