Will be climbing around gairloch for the next week, anyone have any idea what carnmore is likely to be like? how many days does it take to dry?

Probably about 5.
Of all the crags you could pick I would think it is a bit early for this one.
Anyway, the forecast is poor this weeknd isn't it?

I think you may be 'on to plums'. Personally, I wouldn't walk all the way in there on the off chance!

It's very quick, as long as the route doesn't have drainage points. So the lower tier is slower (start of Fionn Buttress) but the upper fast (Gob and Dragon fast). After a wet few days, it does need some sun and a fine day, which isn't in the forecast

It dries fairly quickly after rain from what I remember, although I've no idea whether more long term seepage takes longer to dry - we had a day of mist and drizzle and rain when we were there and the ccrag was fine the next day, but that was in summer.....

It has been a good drying day in Gairloch today - sun and a good breeze. There is also the odd shower about though.
