Evening all,

Just wondering what was the current situation with Ratho (the indoor wall)?

Open or not, and if open which bits are open?

In reply to John_Hat: The indoor walls are all open as far as I know including the new comp wall, there are several lead walls in the arena.

Sorry, when first built there was a rumour that there would be indoor trad leading, which was first knocked on the head by instability in the rock, and further knackered by funding issues, that what I meant!

Not that stressed about it mind, just would be fun!

In reply to John_Hat: Yeh the indoor real rock leading has been out the window for a long time... The indoor wall is great nothing else like it! Plus there's plenty of fun to be had outdoors in the quarry.

Well worth a visit.

Hi there, the centre is open fully.top rope wall inc tower, lead wall, competition wall. new speed climbing wall and international standard competition wall. bouldering room and boulders in the main arena. so plenty of choice 4 a good days climb. also inc the spa and gym. check these links for more info
