As would befit a Yorkshire venue, the climbs at Almscliff are good value indeed.
We went to Yorkshire for the first time at the weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Brimham was most enjoyable, and Almscliff thoroughly great. Its good to get tested properly (Demon Wall ... nuff said), none of this soft touch stuff.
Thanks to A Nidderdale Boulderer for pub and campsite recommendation, to all the friendly folk at both venues, to the sun for shining and to the rocks for being perfect for making it a fine weekend.
