I orderd one a couple of weeks ago and they took the money straight away, they mentioned a publication date but can't remember what it was. Mid August sometime.
I have got mine today (Thursday). First impressions... well I am very impressed. The expanded coverage is very welcome but the guide is still small and light enough to carry up routes. The action photography is superb as are the photo diagrams. Lots of interesting grade changes to add to the evening discussions...
Ordered mine from amazon about a week ago, said delivery estimate is 13-19 of august, but it hasn't yet been dispatched, so I'm holding out hope that it'll be here in time for heading there next week...
Amazon stock could take a while to arrive since they don't hold stock so the books always need to be secondary ordered by them. If you want a book quickly then best to order from a specialist UK Online Outdoor Retailer, or the Rockfax site, or go to your local Outdoor Shop.
> Would most shops have them in stock, do you think?
Shops that have pre-ordered their stock should have stock by this weekend since Cordee got a bulk delivery earlier in the week. However not all shops pre-order so it might be worth phoning before making a special trip.
