Metolius Grip Saver Plus - Anyone have any opinions?

I'm looking for a training aid my nan can get me for christmas. Can't be too expensive. Has anyone ever used one of these? If so, was it any good, or is there something better?

I'd say a good tool for warmup & rehab but not really for training.
Also the black rubber bits snap, get some spares.

Good for warming up for fingerboarding. The balck bits do snap but you get a couple with it.

Good for rehab I found. I think I've lost mine though - haven't seen it for ages....mutter mutter
