Gorges du Tarn

i'm off to france next weekend and am after some info on gorges du tarn...
is it any good for 5s and 6s?
what is the closest town and campsite?
whereabouts in the gorge is the climbing - i've looked on the map and its quite extensive.
where can i get the guide from?
any other info would be much appreciated.

5s no, 6s maybe, 7s yes.

Millau is the nearest big town. North of there (towards the Tarn and Jonte) are loads of campsites. Might be a bit early in the season for them to be open though - try Millau tourist info.

See link above. The crags are mostly on the bend where the river turns south after running west.

Shops in Millau for recent (2001?) Tarn and Jonte topos, this months Vertical for topo and info on the Boffi.

Take a long rope, routes in the Tarn can be up to 45m (single pitch).
