In reply to Ghastly Rubberfeet: The Ant and I soloed the Downfall one september. Green algae on outward sloping ledges. The waterfall was blowing up vertically in the air. Then it came down. The water went in our collars and out through the bottoms of our gaiters. Fun though. Couldn't stop laughing at one point as the water once again went straight up the air, since you knew exactly what would happen in ten seconds. Soaked doesn't come into it. At the top, a family was picnic-ing next to the stream...I said 'I hope you didn't piss in it...'. They looked at us rather funny.....
