I was hoping to pick the brains of some UKC users. Im planning on making some climbing holds for my personal use, and I am aware that most manufacturers use Polyurethane resin for its strength, lack of fumes and non-brittle nature. I am however, having a nightmare trying to find a good pouring resin for home use at a reasonably economical price (considering this resin is about 4 times the cost of polyester).
Can anybody point me in the right direction for getting a good resin for this purpose.
If any of the climbing hold companies would like to release the secrets to their formulas that would be good as well, haha...
Thanks!
