There's a great picture in classic rock of some guy climbing great slab on glyder fach in a tweed jacket with a hemp rope tied round his waist, pipe in mouth with no protection what so ever. That's real climbing from the days when men were men and women climbed in long dresses. Inspiring. Now where can i get a decent hemp rope from?
