In reply to skullgrid: I saw Alone on the Wall at a cinema a couple of years back and despite it being an amazing bit of filming felt very uncomfortable about the whole thing. Watching this feels exactly the same. He's an amazing climber and comes over as a really nice chap as well. It just makes me wish, in the nice possible way, that he would stop doing solos like this!

Thats part of its attraction. It is utterly unfathomable.
one day he will be gone in a flash, we all know it. i for one don't care, he's doing what he wants to do. he has probably had twice the life of many OAPs. burn fast burn bright!
