In reply to dan evans:

Leo - top pitch of the Quarryman (or was when he was interviewed in OTE a year or two back) - whatever grade that is.

Ben (Moon, right?) presumably Hubble - 8c+

In reply to dan evans: Leo Holding has done Bungles Arete which is 8b, Moon has done quite a few 8c+s.

Now Ben is back in the Uk, lets hope we see some hard cranking from him!

In reply to John Cox:

I guess he actually means Ben Bransby. Dunno what he's redpointed, but he's onsighted 8a+ hasn't he?

In reply to dan evans:

Who cares? The important thing is that they are both natural onsighters. That's why when they go to Shivling with Ben'n'Jerry they'll be doing a technically demanding route ground-up while the latter will be pissing about on the campsite boulders. Onsighting talent is the mark of the true natural, not the ability to campus and dog a project into submission.

In reply to Jamie B:

Yes but only of it makes you happy.

Ben has said himself that he only boulders now because he wants to be doing moves at this limit when he is not pumped or scared - Which is up to him!

Leo might enjoy doing the opposite, which is fair enough

Everyone to their own!

In reply to Jamie B:

onsighting is a skill on it's own, whether it's on routes or boulder problems.
