Just bought a 4 pack of Merino trekking socks from Costco for £10.
I have a pair of smartwool socks which are exactly the same and cost around £15 per pair. They look almost identical and seem to be of the same quality.
In reply to birdman: there are massive animal welfare issues associated with merino production, hence the price of some merino brands - presumably the costco is "unethical" merino.
Still a bloody good bargain
