I bought some new quickdraw slings but im not sure whether the bent gate or the straight gate goes in the "looser" end or if its even important for that matter. Thanks

In reply to anomm: The straight gate usually, the rubber grommet end keeps the bent gate in a stable place to clip your rope in.

Hope that helps,

Dave.

In reply to anomm: straight gate, that is the bit that goes in to the pro and the reason for the loose bit is so the pro doesn't fall out as easily. Bent is held in place to make clipping easier

In reply to anomm: Ok, thank you

In reply to grumpybearpantsclimbinggoat: Agreed, but I am a little sceptical. In 15 years of climbing I don't think any of my krabs look anything like that.

In reply to EeeByGum:

Unfortunately, I know a few of mine do!
