Can anyone tell me if Mick is a full-time sponsored climber or whether he still works a 9to5 job (Heard he works for the Inland Revenue??)

The man is clearly a God! His achievements were mentioned by Chris Bonnington at the recent Everest 50 years celebration lecture at the Odean in Leicester Square!!!

Training is coming along well. Hard going but all worth it. How is the injury? are you able to climb again yet?

Nice one mate. You been doing Peaks day trips? or somewhere else?

My arm is healing nicely but still in an arm brace. Should lose that in under a fortnight, then it's sports physio time. Reckon i'll still catch the summer season. Just.

Autumn/Winter are going to be extra busy to make up!

In reply to Clinton: He is a sponsored climber ...i sponsored him in 1979 when i took a big fall at Cheddar and in return for lowering me to the car park down the grass slope he relieved my of quite a lot of gear.
