Its down as V Diff on the Wikki site and on the logbook here, but my guide says H Severe - Anyone know why.
Im looking for different V Diffs for beginners at Tremadog.

In reply to Ian Archer: Hi, make sure Hail Bebe is on your list
In reply to Ian Archer:

Axeminster is VDiff in the new guide, but unstarred and described as "Scrappy".

At the risk of stating the obvious, none of the main crags at Tremadog are particularly good at VDiff, although Hail Bebe is nice. Moel y Gest has a bit more to go at perhaps for beginners.

What about Bramble Butress on Craig Y Gesail? Only has one star, but it is good.

upper tier is where the beginners normally go at tremadog.
In reply to Ian Archer:

I've no idea about the answer to your question, but I did Axeminster on my second day climbing; I'd have thought it was pretty suitable, and I enjoyed it, so I don't see why your beginners wouldn't. It does wander a bit - maybe the grade discrepancy is down to inadvertent variations.
