In reply to Kelcat: yeh this is sad news,
i remember when they played Liverpool royal court, they caused a riot, the crowd went crazy when somebody was hit with a bottle and the Beasties had to fight them back and made a sharp exit, it was a mad night.

Hello nasty represented a great epochal shift for white boy rap. Some outstanding tunes, respect is due.

Ah that's shit. Was just listening to Fight For Your Right, five minutes ago, on my way into work.

Hello Nasty, one of my favourite albums of all time.

In reply to Enty: what a shame. Fortunately managed to see them twice in Sydney in the 90's. What a great act.

In reply to Enty: sad loss. B Boys always manage to have a tune for every occasion. Sound track to life?

In reply to Enty: Saw them in glasgow in 1999. Brilliant stuff, really decent bunch of guys goofing around on stage.

Ill Communication and Hello Nasty are two kickass albums.
