Don't it was featured in the ceromony, but the Chemical Brothers "Theme for the velodrome" is stunning

The music used in the opening ceromony was stunning, but most it was fairly familar - a great cross section of British culture

Not really, however if you're watching the Olympics tonight the track played at the end of the program on the BBC will be by a band called Ellen and the Escapades. I've seen them twice this summer and they're really rather good.
