As a timely update to this thread ( www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?t=517450&v=1#x6992704) about girls climbing hard sport, apparently Mina has just become only the second British female, as far as I know, to climb French 8b+, Lucy Creamer being the only lady to have climbed the grade until now.

Mighty impressive.

In reply to PeteH: I've said it on UKB but it deserves more attention on here. 2nd Brit Female to climb 8b+ and first on our shores if i'm not mistaken? Hopefully they'll be a deserved news piece on this and also Barrows 8c+ in the Loup.

I know! I'm surprised this hasn't had more of a reaction on here, it's way more significant in my view than British men climbing F8c/+ abroad (undoubtedly impressive and deserving of note as that is.)
