Dovestone Tor conditions?

Hi, I've been wanting to check out Dovestone Tor since the start of the year, but haven't managed it yet. I heard it gets very green and slimy in winter.

Anyone know if this is the case now? Not really fancying the walk in if it is, I'll just head somewhere else instead.

In reply to Muel: It would be worth a walk for the view, but it will be bloomin freezing, even on a still winters day.

In reply to EeeByGum: Bouldering up there can be OK and on a reeally nice day if you are well wrapped up it can be possible to climb but not with the current weather. Brilliant walking though when everything is crispy white and frozen.
