hi, im looking for some info on single pitch sport climbing holidays in spain or france for grades in 6s with a bit of height to them, will be using 60m rope and would be first climbing holiday..thanks lee

Most people tend to avoid Spain and the hotter areas of France in the Summer, considering these places as winter sun destinations. Climbing is generally considered more pleasant in the mountainous alpine areas in summer like Chamonix, Ailefroide or the Italian Dolomites.

Are you going with the wife and new baby? Bouldering in Fontainebleau might be more practical...
