Makes me want to move there for the weather and ice climbing!!!!!
I can't wait for the day I can move back to the Highlands, till then, stuck on the south coast which ain't too bad :0)

By the way no 'attempt'! Us two 'hardy souls' (followed by two other equally 'hardy souls')successfully scaled the German's Helmet emerging victorious into the sun. We congratulated each other with manly back slips and squinted manfully into the setting sun before descending the steep slopes and then risking a potential fiery death on the A9...
Apparently there was also an article in the Daily Record showing some other climbers (possibly the 'Lodge'?) top roping (bottom roping!)
It was perfect as always at Slochd!
