Can anyone recommend a cottage or bunkhouse that is available for sole occupancy, about 15 people. Ideally within striking distance of mountains and a pub. Need a kitchen and big dining room plus fireplace
Cheers
In reply to finter22: There's a club hut below pen y pass, at Hafod Rhisgl, owned by the Pinnacle Club that fits the description. Maybe give the club a call? You'll probably need to be a club to get access though...
No idea if he was a member of the club or how he booked it, but a great place, great fire, huge kitchen, just outside Llanberis, pub at the bottom of the road. Probably an ideal place.
There's a bunkhouse on Garth Farm now (other end of the lake from Plas Y Brenin), but I've no idea how good it is. The farmer offered it to me as a refuge one night during a particularly vile storm, but I managed to stay in the tent instead.
May be worth ringing to ask about (01690 720212)

There's a lovely bunkhouse between Ogwen and Bethesda which will fit the bill. Just Google Ogwen Bunkhouse. The owner is a really nice guy.
