 Topic - East vs West this weekend

I'm going up to Scotland for the first time this weekend. I have some winter climbing experience, mostly water ice (I reckon I'm fine up to V 5 but would rather be conservative).
Does anybody with a bit more experience/local knowledge have any advice as to what area to head to for the best conditions this weekend?
(If you'd rather not shout about your favourite secluded retreat for fear of it being mobbed by the ukc masses, I guess you could pm me...) |
