 Topic - Avon Gorge Rockfall Potential

It was noticed yesterday that a microwave-sized block on behind the first tree The Arete V-Diff in Main Area was quite loose and potentially dangerous.
Some material had come down by this afternoon, but there is still a significant loose piece.
The only routes that would be directly in the fall line are The Arete itself and Dexter, but material could also fall into the bay by the start of Central Gully and Central Rib, so anyone scrambling up to these routes should also be aware. |
