 Topic - Euro Bailout tax on Savings

There is a panic on in Cyprus with everyone trying to withdraw all their money from Bank Accounts there..
I am thinking of moving my bank account TO Cyprus as they are about to tax savings accounts there.
As I have a HUGE overdraft , then surely I will get a REBATE as the balance is a negative amount???
Anyway just think what will happen to the bankers bonuses if we all withraw all of our money from the banks here.. Hmmm!!! Maybe that is not a bad idea after all!! Anyone want to start a run on the banks? |
