Considering a visit Sunday, is the road along Mungrisdale accessible or is it still bad with the Snow ? Are the lower roadside boulders covered in snow still ?

Having read on web how much snow has fallen, I'm going to give it a miss this weekend in the abscence of any actual report.

Drove past the turning on the a66 today and it all looked fine over towards Carrock fell.

A bit late for Sunday but just in case you can still get there... I was there on Friday and the friction was just about perfect. There were patches of snow on the ground but the rock was clear. Given the forecast it could stay like that for the next few days.
