I am off to Bamburgh next week for a few days and hope to get some bouldering in. Anyone got any advice for where maybe is in condition, gets winter sun, not covered in snow!? Preferably V1-V4.

In reply to roverhead:

You are close to Bowden, Back Bowden and the Kyloes.

Bowden gets the sun and wind, Back Bowden Sun and is much more sheltered, Kyloe out gets some sun and shelter.Kyloe in Some sun and lots of shelter.

None of these were in the snow this weekend, but if things do turn out to be damp, or you suspect they are, then it's best not to climb as the rock is weakened when wet.

Of the above, without a guidebook Back Bowden may be yuor best bet - lots of obvious pumpy stuff at that grade.
