Heading up to north Wales this weekend and wondering if there is any snow left in parsley fern gully ....are crampons and ice axe recommended on the higher peaks still ?

There's snow patches but it doesn't look at all unbroken. There's still an unbroken line of white in Nameless/Cwm Cneifon though!

Hi Snorbie
Not much help really but this was Sergeant's Gully and Parsley Fern Left Hand only 3 weeks ago:

Can't imagine there is much left now...
Cheers Dave

snow has disappeared fast this last week but still some big patches- have a look at the snowdon web cam for latest view (if cloud free)

no need at all for ice axe crampons these last few days but forecast is for a cold spell at the weekend

We could see Parley Fern from the Glyderau on Saturday, surprisingly it was intact, as was Easy Gully, Cwm Cneifion and Col Gully Glyder Fach.

Easy gully did have a line of snow down it but it was very very soft, and the cornice was sinking in to the valley
