...it's all going pear shaped. Seemed like parking was already restricted and they were encouraging people to park in Ambleside and bus to the event. Now the parking ground they were going to use is flooded and they are laying on 5 coaches (one of which won't get there till after race registration has closed). The 8:30 and 9:30 coaches will leave you with hours of loitering so I expect 10:30 and 11:30 (will it get there before registration closes at 12:00?) coaches will be vastly overwhelmed! Five coaches for 1150 (approx) runners plus family/friends seems ridiculous!

I'm travelling from Edinburgh and a friend is travelling a similar distance from the south.

Is it going to be worth the hassle and the chance of not even getting to the event?
