I'm currently having to tape up my foot with zinc oxide tape due to having an injury. I bought some from Boots, Boots own brand and it's pretty rubbish. It just won't stay stuck for my whole run. While the stuff my physio uses stays on for days.

Does anyone know of a good brand of tape, which will stay stuck for more than an hour?

I find the stuff at super drug best, it is a much finer weave than the Boots stuff, tearable and very sticky.

I used to use this stuff under the tape, as I struggled to get it to stick regularly

It's kind of tacky and sticks to itself, but a bit of tape will hold it together. Wrap it around your foot like a bandage. You only need one wrap.

On this stuff, any cheap tape will stick and you don't have to worry about ripping hair out afterwords.

I did try that first, but it came off on my longer runs.

In reply to Uluru:

put on friars balsam (also known as tincture of benzoin - available from chemist) before the tape. Brown and sticky but makes the tape stick!

Or better tape

Strappal is really good. If you plan to get your feet wet or if you will be going for a long time then put it on the day before so that it kind of sets. The longer it is on before the event the better it will stick. Be careful removing it afterwards.
