Hello, we've moved to the UK fairly recently and are heading to the lakes for the first time this weekend. We'll be based in Coniston. I've been looking through the Lakesbloc site but it would be really good to get some recommendations about good bouldering spots.
Ideally we'd like to spend one day bouldering with the family. We have a 2 year old son, so it would be great to go somewhere with a short walk in. My wife would like to climb below Font6A. I'd be keen to climb in the 6B-7A range.
I probably can also arrange a quick session on my own. It'll be a short session so nearby and with a short walk in would be great. Ideally with things around 6C-7A.
Oh and one more thing. It would be great to find somewhere with at least some shade because I'm really crap in the sun.
I'm really excited about getting out to new places, and it will be great to see the Lakes.
