Looks a stunning race, but oh so hard - probably not fit enough to enjoy it next year, maybe one day. Anyone done it ?

I have not done the race, but it's very popular here in Spain. Some friends have done it. There is some controversy on the distance, as it's officially 10k longer than what everyone measures, but the organisers have so far refused to change their advertising.
I have thought about doing it, but it's very early in the season and so popular that you have to commit to signing up almost a year in advance. Both the Canary and the Balearic islands have very good mountain races close to the sea. I might do the Menorca one next year.
