I was looking across a couple of hours ago and it's fairly patchy. I think (usual caveats) you should be able to approach from the lochan OK. If it doesn't work you could always walk to the top and ab in.
Not convinced that abbing from the plateau would be a bundle of laughs - the exit pitch above the main corner is a tad loose as I recall, and probably quite hard to identify from above.
In reply to sloth: climbed it on the 9th June and there was a fair bit of snow to cross in approach shoes (not fun) but i imagine a lot of that should have melted.. good luck
