Different patterns of sweating

Ive been thinking about the ways people sweat recently - no particular reason, just comparing myself to others during exercise.

Having been out running in this hot, hot weather I notice that my sweating seems mostly to come from my back which is like a leaking tap. I finish the runs and I look at my arms and I can see the sweat beading out and the beads join ultimately dripping from my forearms and then my shins are like my back.

Then I look at others at the gym or out and about and I see chests dripping wet and people's heads and faces sodden with sweat whereas mine are almost dry.

As I say, just observing.

In reply to TheDrunkenBakers:

I always wear a cap when running in the summer and the sweat soaks up, and is absorbed by the beak, and drips off the end. Better than it running into my eyes.

I always get a couple of patches below my chest, just below where my HRM strap is.

Going out for a long one tomorrow (probably 5 hours or so) and so will take a CamelBak - the thing will be soaked through, and encrusted in salt by the time I'm finished.

Nice topic
